This beautiful fondant birthday cake with coordinating cupcakes was created for a little girl’s birthday party. The cake is a 8 inch round cake that was white cake with fresh lemon filling and a lemon buttercream. The bottom layer is a 10 inch cake that was strawberry with a fresh strawberry filling and a vanilla buttercream icing. The cupcakes were a variety of strawberry with strawberry filling, white cake with lemon filling and chocolate with a chocolate hazelnut filling and topped with a fondant daisy. The cake and cupcakes were delivered to Somerset, KY.

Tennis Birthday Cake with Cupcakes July 19, 2009

The tennis court birthday cake was created for a party in Louisville, KY. The lower tier was a spice cake with a fresh apple filling and a dolce de leche icing under the fondant. The top tier was a white cake with fresh lemon filling and a vanilla butter cream under the marshmallow fondant. The cupcakes were strawberry with a fresh strawberry filling and a cream cheese icing. The net was created out of royal icing and allowed to dry for several days. The pink tennis balls were made from fondant and then decorated with royal icing.

Polka Dot, Daisy, Pink, Lime Green, Yellow Fondant Cake

This hot pink, lime green, yellow and white cake was created for Chelcy’s graduation party.  The cake has an 8″ square 1st tier and a 6″ second tier.  Both cakes are dark chocolate with a creamy semi-sweet chocolate ganache filling.  The cake was then covered in a freshly made marshmallow fondant.
