Wedding Country Dessert Themed Campbellsville Kentucky Twisted Sifter Cake Shoppe June 6, 2012

This beautiful and fun wedding dessert table was created at the National Guard Armory in Campbellsville, Kentucky.  The array of desserts consisted of mini cheesecakes, derby pie, lemon bars, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, peanut butter no bake cookies, a wedding cake for the bride and groom and candy jars filled with skittles and starburst.  The desserts were displayed on antique chest of drawers.  The bride created mason jars filled with candies and straws for the guests beverage glasses. This wedding was featured in the summer edition  2013 of Kentucky Bride magazine.

Turquoise Blue and Red Talon Winery Wedding Lexington KY September 21, 2009

The Talon Winery wedding had 5 two tiered cakes, a 3 tiered cake and 10 pies. The cakes were a variety of flavors and decorated in turquoise blue with red accents. Tennis Birthday Cake with Cupcakes July 19, 2009

The tennis court birthday cake was created for a party in Louisville, KY. The lower tier was a spice cake with a fresh apple filling and a dolce de leche icing under the fondant. The top tier was a white cake with fresh lemon filling and a vanilla butter cream under the marshmallow fondant. The cupcakes were strawberry with a fresh strawberry filling and a cream cheese icing. The net was created out of royal icing and allowed to dry for several days. The pink tennis balls were made from fondant and then decorated with royal icing.

Wedding Cake with Cupcakes White Lillies, Freesia, Lavener Austromaria June 26, 2009

 

 

This beautiful wedding cake with accenting cupcakes was created for an afternoon wedding that was held at the Undulata Horse Farm in Shelbyville, KY.  The cake and cupcakes were a white cake with a fresh lemon fillling and a fresh lemon buttercream.  The cake was decorated in a soft yellow with white royal icing swirls and a lavender border.  The fresh flowers on the top of the cake were white lillies, freesia and lavender austromaria.  The flowers were provided by The Flower Basket in Perryville, KY.

Black, White, Pink Wedding Cake April 27, 2009

This three tiered vanilla buttercream with black cornelli lace and fresh pink roses was for a beautiful spring wedding located at The Maple Hill Bed and Breakfast in Springfield, KY. The bride chose a white cake with a fresh lemon filling and a fresh lemon buttercream for both the top and bottom layers. The middle tier was a chocolate cake filled with a chocolate ganache. Each layer was wrapped with a 5/8″ satin ribbon.

Pink Romantic Roses Wedding Cake March 24, 2009

This beautiful pink buttercream with fresh white and pink roses is layered with several flavors. The top is a white cake with fresh lemon filling and the butter cream is lemon flavored. The second tier is a chocolate cake with a white chocolate buttercream icing. The third layer is a chocolate cake with a raspberry filling and a white chocolate buttercream icing. Lastly, the bottom tier is a white cake with a fresh strawberry filling and a white chocolate buttercream icing. A similar cake would cost $450.00 (including the roses.)
