This gorgeous wedding cake was created for a wedding at the http://www.BooneTavernHotel.com in Berea, KY .  The cake was iced in vanilla buttercream and piped with a decorative pattern.  The 4 tier round cake was then adorned with fresh flowers consisting of white and lavender roses accented with purple stock and purple hydrangeas.  The cake flavors were chocolate chip with a peanut butter buttercream filling, yellow with chocolate buttercream and a strawberry cake with a fresh strawberry filling. Romantic Wedding Cake Pink Lace Danville Country Club January 21, 2013

Pink Lace Wedding CakeDusty pink was used to create the lovely pink base of this lace wedding cake.  The 4 tiers were covered in a marshmallow pink fondant and adorned with a creamy white lace that was shimmered.  The bride provided the beautiful gold cameo.  The adjoining cakes were iced in a buttercream and one was covered in a chocolate ganache pour.  The wedding guests were treated to a variety of wedding cake flavors and fillings.  Morgan and Caleb chose Lemon cake with a fresh raspberry filling, a guinness stout cake with an irish cream chocolate ganache, red velvet and a spiced cabernet cake and buttercream.  The reception was held at the www.DanvilleCountryClub.net in Danville, KY.   The fresh flowers for the cake topper were provided by A Lasting Impression of Danville, KY.  To schedule your complimentary consultation and tasting, call The Twisted Sifter at (859) 238-9393.  For more information visit our website at TheTwistedSifter.com.

This ivory fondant wedding cake was created for a wedding held at the Bell House in Lexington, Kentucky.  The flowers were created in gum paste and adorned with small ivory and soft green pearls.  The cake flavors were key lime with key lime buttercream, lemon cake with fresh raspberry filling and a classic white with vanilla buttercream.  The additional sheet cake was a Guinness Stout cake with a chocolate ganache filling and an Irish cream buttercream.

Wedding Cake Yellow Orange Hot Pink Gerber Daisy Somerset Kentucky

This lovely and colorful wedding cake was created for a wedding that was held at the Harold Roger Fire Training Center in Somerset, Kentucky.  The cake was iced in white buttercream and adorned with satin hot pink ribbon and the bride chose silk yellow and orange gerber daisies.  The four tier cake had two layers that were round and two that were hexagon to create additional interest in the design.  The cake flavors were chocolate with peanut butter buttercream, champagne cake with fresh strawberry filling, chocolate bourbon with cream cheese filling, and a pink velvet cake  with pomegranate buttercream filling.  The groom chose Woodford Reserve bourbon for the chocolate bourbon cake.

Wedding Cake Yellow and White Fondant Flower Broughtontown Kentucky June 5, 2012

This soft yellow buttercream iced, 4 tier wedding cake is adorned with white fondant flowers that have a pearl in the center of each flower.  The cake was created for a wedding at the Broughtontown Community Center in Broughtontown, Kentucky.  The bride a groom choose different cake flavors for each tier.  The flavors were strawberry, creme brûlée, red velvet and the classic white.  The wedding had a rustic, laid back feel with the center pieces made from mason jars filled with daisies and silver lanterns with lit candles.

Wedding Cake Blue and White with Bird Nest Topper Ashley Inn Lancaster Kentucky

This beautiful delphinium blue and white wedding cake was created for a wedding held at the Ashley Inn in Lancaster, Kentucky.  The cake is 3 tiers of buttercream icing with a satin ribbon, gum paste flowers and blue piping.  The cake is topped with a lovely bride and groom birds nest.  The wedding cake was accompanied by two smaller cakes that were designed similarly.  Each tier of the cake was a different flavor.  Including white and chocolate cakes with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberry fillings.
