This fun jungle themed birthday cake was created for a child’s birthday party. The cake is iced with a vanilla buttercream and the decorating is done with marshmallow fondant. The monkey, lion and elephant were sculpted with fondant. The zebra didn’t make it to the cake. I threw my back out in the middle of making him!! Who’d have thought making a zebra was going to be so painful. 🙂

This fondant covered hot pink, black and white parisian poodle cake was created for a little girl’s 6th birthday. The cake was white with fresh raspberry filling and the second layer was chocolate with a fres raspberry filling. Both cakes were iced with a vanilla buttercream and covered in a vanilla marshmallow fondant. The poodle is created with fondant and royal icing. The collars are silver edible beads.
