This pretty, vintage 3 tier wedding cake was created in vanilla buttercream.  The cake was piped in a ruffle on the top and bottom tiers and on the center tier we created a textured look.  The satin ribbon is in a sage green adorned with gumpaste and shimmered gardenia flowers.

Ivory and Magnolia Wedding Cake Asbury College Wilmore KY August 16, 2011

This simple and elegant 4 tier wedding cake was iced in a texture fashion with a vanilla buttercream.  The magnolias and the cake were shimmered in ivory.  The cake was for a reception being held at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY.

Owl Wedding Cake Paris Kentucky August 2, 2011

This adorable owl themed wedding cake was created for a wedding in Paris, KY.  The cake is square and covered in buttercream with fondant detailing in red, white and blue.  The bride and groom owl topper was created in marshmallow fondant.

Parisian Hot Pink Poodle and Zebra Striped Birthday Cake August 23, 2009

This fondant covered hot pink, black and white parisian poodle cake was created for a little girl’s 6th birthday. The cake was white with fresh raspberry filling and the second layer was chocolate with a fres raspberry filling. Both cakes were iced with a vanilla buttercream and covered in a vanilla marshmallow fondant. The poodle is created with fondant and royal icing. The collars are silver edible beads.

Bridal Shower Buttercream for Taylor Made Farm in Lexington, KY June 30, 2009

 

 

This Parisian inspired bridal shower cake was created for Taylor Made Farms in Lexington, KY.  The cake was 2 tiers with a white cake with a bavarian cream filling with fresh strawberries.  The second tier was a strawberry cake with a fresh strawberry filling.  The design is all hand piped in a sage green, a pearlescent orange and a champagne.

Paris Eiffel Tower Cake April 24, 2009

This Paris Eiffel Tower themed welcome home cake was two different flavors decorated in Parisian colors. The top layer was a white cake with lemon filling and the lower layer was a white cake with an English custard. The Eiffel Towers were made from royal icing and outlined in edible marker.
