The three wedding cakes were created for a photo shoot for Zack Delp Photography in Liberty, KY.  The first cake si a 4 tier with a textured icing and pink magnolia flowers.  The second is a 3 tier cake with icing ruffles and pink roses.  The third cake, is a three tier covered in ivory marshmallow fondant and adorned with pearls and a single ivory rose.

Fondant Spiderman Inflatable Slide Birthday Cake – Richmond, KY October 28, 2009

We created this cake for a brother and sister’s birthday party.  The sister turned 19 and the little brother was turning 4.  Since their birthdays are so close together they decided to have one big party.  Primary colors were used to decorate.  The little boy wanted a spiderman cake and the sister was having an inflatable slide for her friends, so we incorporated both into one cake.  The cake was white with a fresh raspberry filling and it was iced with vanilla buttercream.

This 57 Chevy 2 door sedan cake was created for the 50th wedding anniversary of a Harrodsburg, KY couple. The cake was ordered by their daughter’s as a surprise for the party. The car is coral and ivory and is white cake with a blackberry filling. The car was constructed out of cake and then covered in fondant. The chrome parts of the car were hand painted with silver luster dust.

This is the second tiered special occasion cake we have created for Ace Weekly a free newspaper in Lexington, KY. This time the celebration was for the issue of “The Best of Lexington”. The fondant covered cake was 4 tiers of chocolate cherry cake with a chocolate ganache, a strawberry cake with strawberry filling, carrot cake with a cream cheese filling and a spice cake with a fresh apple filling with a cream cheese icing. The silver on the cake was all hand painted.
